Texting and Driving
Texting can be very dangerous, I saw one of my son’s classmates almost get run over because he was texting and walking. The kid was so distracted messaging that he just crossed the street without even looking. OMG! Texting and driving is even more dangerous, more life’s are put in danger. It is just unacceptable to be texting and driving, it’s just as dangerous as driving intoxicated. I don’t understand why people text and drive, it won’t kill them to wait ten minutes to reply but it will kill them to replay. If people are dying to text then they should pull over and read their text message or replay. Drivers and Pedestrians need to understand that they are putting themselves and others in danger when they text. It’s not a hard concept to understand, it really simple just wait. This problem can easily be resolved. The world has many things to worry about and texting should not be one of these problems.
I was watching the news, and there are now some devices that can be installed to a car that does not allow the driver to text or receive text messages while driving. I hope that with this new technology texting and driving can be eliminated.
I totally agree that texting while driving is a serious matter. It is just unsafe!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I wonder why I run to check a new text when my cell phone rings. I run as if I was waiting for the grand prize, a transcendental news, or something better. That is why the people also answers the phone or check their text while driving? Could it be that we are always waiting for something, an unexpected twist, that changes our lives forever?

ReplyDeleteyes it is dangerous to text and drive. My friend's sister passed from a guy that was texting while driving on the freeway, so I'm glad that people see this is a serious matter.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you. Texting while driving is really dangerous since people have to look at the screen and type which takes people's attention away from the road.
